About Us
We help cancer-stricken families in a variety of ways, easing the burden and allowing them to focus their efforts on fighting the cancer battle and healing.
Research indicates having strong family and community support is associated with higher survivorship.
-
Inspired by Jason Gallas’ battle with cancer, we formed in 2021 and began fundraising in 2022, and have impacted the lives of 25 different cancer families in the area so far.
-
We primarily serve families through our annual golf tournament, held the Monday after Father’s Day, to raise funds and honor recipients. We are grateful for the generosity of our sponsors and donors.
-
Our Benevolence Scholarship is for parents battling cancer, who have school aged children between the ages of 0-25, to help ease the burden of supporting their family while also fighting cancer.
-
Gallas Strong Foundation is 100% volunteer-based. There are lots of ways you can help us make a difference! You can volunteer at our tournament, become a sponsor, or reach out if you have other creative ways to support.
